Roger Wolf

Core Team, Strategy Working Group 

Roger Wolf is the Director of Environmental Programs and Services for the Iowa Soybean Association (ISA). In this role, he works to continuously improve natural resource management practices and environmental quality, leading a team of 10 staff and technical specialists. These efforts, spanning over 18 years, align and integrate with the ISA On-Farm Network® and Data Analytics teams, building upon a $40 million historical investment.  In total, this work supports active engagement of farmers from across Iowa and the Upper Midwest region, as well as coordination with 85 public and private collaborators and sponsors. Notable features of this work include the role of monitoring, data analytics, and planning for impactful multi-scale decision making.

 Wolf is a member of the U.S. Water Alliance Board of Directors. He is an active proponent of the One Water Management approach where leaders in conservation, agriculture, and the water sector capitalize on opportunities to work together in new and innovative ways to reduce nutrient loss as well as improve natural resource management in Iowa and within the Mississippi River Basin. Wolf has more than 29 years of resource management programming experience and holds a bachelor’s degree in Geography from the University of Iowa.
